Mary Elizabeth Headlee

Mary Elizabeth Headlee, 83, of Strasburg died Friday, March 15, 2002 at Park Village Health Care Center following an extended illness.

She was a teacher in the Southeastern School District in Greene County, Pennsylvania.

Born on June 17, 1918 in Dillner, Pennsylvania she was a daughter of the late Charles and Edna Field Sandusky.

She was affiliated with the Strasburg United Methodist Church, and enjoyed singing in the church choir. Her hobbies were playing the piano and sewing.

Mary Lib is survived by her husband of 63 years Kenneth Headlee.

She is also survived by two daughters: Karen (Ron) Wallick of Dover
Janis Headlee of Wappinger Falls, New York

Three grandchildren: Kerby (Mary) Wallick of Grand Rapids, Michigan
Doug (Carmen) Stasko of Raleigh, North Carolina
Meridy (Scott) Sieloff of Canton

Three great grandchildren: Matthew, Sarah and Andrew Wallick of Grand Rapids, MI

Sister: Dorothy Kubicar of Dillner, Pennsylvania

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2002 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Strasburg with Rev. Steven Court officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg. Friends can call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
