Mary D. Balder

Mary D. Balder, 54, of New Philadelphia died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, February 28, 2014.

Born May 12, 1959 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Floyd and MaryBelle McConnell Jones. Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, James Balder on September 17, 2010 and her nephew, Paul Jones.

She was employed at Better Home Health Care and was a member of the First Assembly of God both in New Philadelphia.

A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Mary will be sadly missed by her children, Susan Penick and companion, Scott Granato of Dover, Shane (Kim) Smith of Dover, Shannon Balder and fianc, Tom Page of Tuscarawas, Randy (Felicia) Balder of New Philadelphia, Brittany Balder of Columbus, Robert and Tricia Balder both of New Philadelphia; brother, Floyd (Netter) Jones Jr. and sister, Vivian Jones both of New Philadelphia; aunts, Lillian Davis of New Philadelphia and Carol (Loren) Griesen of Dover; uncle, Dick (Joni) Seibert of Uhrichsville; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 5 at 11:00 am in the First Assembly of God in New Philadelphia with Pastor Larry Fletcher officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover on Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
