Mary Ann Fragasse

Mary N. Fragasse, 90, a long-time resident of N. Mckinley St., Dover, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, in New Dawn Health Care Center.

Born Jan. 29, 1915, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Tullosi Novak. Mary graduated from the former St. Joseph High School, Dover. She married Lewis N. Fragasse on Jun. 24, 1950. She was a homemaker and was employed as an admitting officer at Union Hospital. Mary was a faithful member of St. Joseph Church, Dover and L.C.B.A. Additionally, she was active in the Dover Historical Society.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Frances Novak of Pompano Beach, FL, Marian Fragasse of Canton, Jewel Fragasse of Nashville, TN, and Patricia Novak of Fruitland, FL; brothers-in-law, Henry (Dolores) Fragasse of Dover, Orlando “Peach” Fragasse of New Philadelphia, and Burman Berndt of Dover.

Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, in 1985; a sister, Caroline Novak Morgan; and two brothers, John and Frank Novak.

A funeral Mass will be held Monday, Jun. 6, at 10 a.m., in St. Joseph Church, with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dover. Follwing the committal, a reception will be held St. Joseph Church Hall. Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Sunday, 5 �" 7 p.m. A Christian wake service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
