Marjorie M. Marsh, 88, of Dover, died Wednesday, Apr. 23, 2008, surrounded by her loving family and the caring staff of New Dawn Health Care Center.

Born, May 2, 1919, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Anna Unsold Souers. Marjorie graduated from Dover High School and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband owned and operated the former Mar-Deb Laundromat and Dry Cleaners in Dover.

Marjorie was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover. She liked gardening and taking care of the yard around her home, and found joy in watching and feeding the wildlife there.

Survivors include a grandson, Jeffrey Doug Weigand of Dover; a sister, June Herman of Dover; sister-in-law, Dorene Souers of Sebring, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Marsh; a daughter, Deborah Good; two sisters and six brothers.

A graveside service will be held Monday, Apr. 28, at 11 a.m. in Dover Burial Park with Rev. Michael W. Lowry officiating. To sign an online guestbook and share a fond memory of Marjorie, please visit the Toland-Herzig Web site and click on obituaries.
