Marie C. Yackey

Marie C. Yackey, 86, of the Country Club Retirement Center, Dover, Ohio died Saturday, September 4, 1999 in the center.

She was a former employee of Cummins Diesel and the City of Dover.

Born October 14, 1912 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late George and Ida Klar Weinsz.

Marie was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover and it's Womens Guild and Rebekah Circle.  She was also an avid bridge player.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roscoe C. Yackey who died March 30, 1985.

She is survived by one son, Ronald L. Yackey of Akron and her daughter Carol O'Bryan of Orange, California

Four grandchildren  Brian Yackey, Lori Wolfe, Daniel O'Bryan, and Lindsey O'Bryan and seven great grandchildren  Jennifer, Nicholas, Steven, Brandon, Chrissy, Jonathan, and Joey.


She was preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Weinsz.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 7, 1999 at 11:00 AM in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Steve Daniels officiating.  Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery.  Friends can call at the funeral home Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
