Margaret O. Browning

Margaret O. Browning, 93, of New Philadelphia died Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at the Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar following a short illness.

She was a homemaker who was also a Nurses Aide at Union Hospital.

Born November 30, 1907 in Circleville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late James and Marie Spencer Richards.

She was a member of the Eastern Star in New Philadelphia and the Republican Women's Club.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Norman A. Browning who died on June 28, 1985.

She is survived by four sons: Norman (Margaret) Browning of Lima
Edward (Betty) Browning of Columbus
John (Norma) Browning of New Philadelphia
Carl (Gail) Browning of Cape Porpoise, Maine

One daughter: Karen (Joseph) Pace Jr. of Bolivar

Three sisters: Florence Quillen Cramlet of Newcomerstown
Geneva Salerno of Vero Beach, Florida
Frances Fowler of Denver, Colorado

29 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by a son: Eugene Browning

One great grandson

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2001 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Following the interment a reception will be held at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Friday from 6-8 pm.
