Margaret J. Incarnato

Margaret J. Incarnato, age 89, of Dover, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, in Union Hospital.

Born November 14, 1926, in Calabria, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Teresa Argiro Lupis. Margaret moved at a young age with her family to the United States, and graduated from high school in Cumberland, Maryland. She married Raymond Incarnato in 1946, and had resided in Dover the past seventy years. Margaret was a loving homemaker, whose life revolved around her family. She was also employed by Dover Molded Products.

Margaret was a long-time member of Dover's St. Joseph Church. She enjoyed cooking, watching football and playing bingo.

Survivors include her daughters, Toni (Richard) Heavilin of Hopedale, Margaret (Russell) Byers of Jewett, and Marcia (Dan) Vaughan of Dover; her sons, Raymond (Cindy) Incarnato Jr. of New Philadelphia, and Andrew (Dawn) Incarnato of Dover; her twenty-two grandchildren; her many great-grandchildren; her sister, Angie Fellows of Illinois; and her brother, Frank Lupis of Virginia.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 1997; her daughter, Philomina Aston; her son, Nick Incarnato; her great-grandson, Parker Lewis Scott; her sister, Florence Indolf; and her brother, Victor Lupis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 19, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Joseph Church; Fr. Jimmy Hatfield will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Sixth Street Cemetery. Following the committal, there will be a lunch in the church's Family Life Center.
