Margaret A. ''Peg'' Samsa

Margaret A. “Peg” Samsa, 83, of Strasburg died Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at Union Hospital following an extended illness.

Born April 17, 1919 in Strasburg she was a daughter of the late Louis P. and Edna Bach Dreher.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Strasburg, Pythian Sisters for 60 years, Democratic Women, Homemakers Club, Women of the Moose, Delphian Club, Card Club (NKW) and was a Den Mother.

Peg was preceded in death by her husband Peter Samsa who died on March 11, 1979.

She is survived by two sons: John (Ruth) Samsa of Beach City
Paul (Susan) Samsa of Strasburg

Daughter in law: Sandra Samsa of Strasburg

Two brothers: Robert (Donna) Dreher of Mansfield
William (Vivian) Dreher of Strasburg

Sister: Pauline Beers of Prince Frederick, Maryland

Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by a son: James Samsa

Infant daughter: Christine Samsa

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2002 at 2:00 pm in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg with Pastor Fred Grosse officiating. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Strasburg on Thursday from 6-8 pm.
