Lydia J. Lederman

Lydia J. Lederman, 97, of Perry, New York, and formerly of Strasburg died Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at Manor Oak Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw, New York following a brief illness.

Born April 7, 1904 in Forst, Switzerland she was a daughter of the late Christian and Elise Kunzi Hadorn.

She was a member of Winfield United Methodist Church and the Winfield Grange.

Her husband Erwin Lederman who died in 1973 preceded Lydia in death.

She is survived by a son: Bernard (Janet) Lederman of Raleigh, North Carolina

Brother: John Hadorn of Williston, Florida

Sister: Lilly Baich of Canton, Ohio

Two grandchildren: Erika and Rebecca Lederman

She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret Kinsey and Elise Winters

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2002 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Strasburg with Rev. Lu Ann Youngman officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to the service.
