Lois Marie (Heter) Muhleman, 74, of Dover, passed away at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover on Saturday, December 5, 2020.
She was born in Dennison, Ohio on January 20, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Verna Jean (Wheeler) Heter. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Heter.
Lois graduated from Claymont High School with the class of 1964. She was a retired dispatcher for the City of Canton Police and Fire Departments. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother when her family was young.
She enjoyed being with and caring for her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kind and friendly nature and a great sense of humor.
She leaves behind her children; Maria (John) Hall, David (Brenda) Muhleman, and Brian Muhleman; grandchildren, Caroleena, Makenzie, Michayla, Jeremiah, Brittney, Devan, Jacob, Isaac, and Daniel; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy (Dale) Stewart, Jean (John) Barker; her former husband, Richard Muhleman; and many nieces and nephews.
In honoring her wishes, cremation has been entrusted with the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. There will be no public services or calling hours due to the Covid-19 pandemic. To sign an online guestbook for Lois, visit the “obituary” link on the funeral home’s website.
