Lillian C. Simpson

Lillian C. Simpson, 88, of Roswell died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Union Hospital.

Born October 3, 1922 in Hazard, Kentucky she was a daughter of the late Taylor and Blanche Wagner. Lillian was also preceded in death by her husband, William Simpson, Sr.; sons, William Simpson, Jr. and Mark Simpson.

She was a member of Roxford Church and its bible study group. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, taking walks and listening to country music.

A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Lillian will be sadly missed by her children, Rebecca Dixon of Venice, Florida, Joanne Tretheway of Englewood, Florida, and Steve Simpson of Uhrichsville; grandchildren, Tim, Michelle, James and Eric; one brother, three sisters and her extended family, William (Hallie) Hawthorne and Shelley and Valerie.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Roxford Church Cemetery with Pastor Ron Heasley officiating. There are no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia are handling arrangements.
