Lelia M. Morehead

Lelia M. Morehead, 89, of New Philadelphia passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center at Canton.

Born January 14, 1930 in Bremen, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Reason and Elva Brown Scholl. Lelia was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Morehead in 1996; and five brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia and was a 65 year member of the Eastern Star.

Lelia is survived by her sons, Kirk Morehead of Cleveland, Kris (Dianne) Morehead; brother, W. Dean (Wanda) Scholl of Columbus, and a grandson, Nicodemus Morehead.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8 at 1:00 pm in the Bremen United Methodist Church with Pastor Andy McClung officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery at Bremen. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
