Larry Norman Soulsby

Larry Norman Soulsby, age 72, a life-long resident of Dover, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020, in Mercy Medical Center, Canton, where he was taken after becoming ill at home.

Born December 2, 1948, he was the son of the late John W. “Bill” and Dorothy H. Eiler Soulsby. Larry graduated from Dover’s St. Joseph High School in 1967, and was employed for many years by the General Telephone & Electronics Corporation. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Dover. Some of his favorite pastimes were travel and camping, square dancing, and following the Cleveland Browns and Indians. Larry was also fond of automobiles, both working on them and just enjoying them.

He is survived by his step-sons, Kevin, Kyle (Jade) and Curt Dunn; his grandchildren, Shelby, Dylan, Olivia, Lainey and Annie; his two great-grandchildren; his cousins, Mary Ann Gibbs Farmer, John Gibbs, Ken (Fran), Ron (Bev), Tim, Tom and Teresa Prince, Sherry and Andy Eiler, and those on the Soulsby side.

In addition to his parents, his former wife, Jennie Dunn, preceded him in death.

Larry will be cremated through the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, and a private family committal service will be held later in St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery.
