Lai Lonie Rees, 66, of Dover passed away at her home on Saturday, January 16, 2021.

Born December 27, 1954 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Wayne “Bud” and Eileen Rothacher Stuber. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her father and mother in law, Warren and Jean Fishel Rees.

Lai Loni retired as a plant manager from Flex Technologies in Midvale, and was a member of the First Moravian Church in Dover. She loved traveling with Bruce, especially going to the beach; Lai Loni also enjoyed playing with her dogs, reading and playing cards with her friends.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 40 years, Bruce Rees whom she married on March 22, 1980; sister, Lin (Gene) Sidel of Dover; brother, Jeff (Nona) Stuber of Colorado; brothers in law, Greg (Nancy) Rees of New Philadelphia, Gary (Anna) Rees of Canada, Brad Rees of Dover; nieces and nephews, Tim Sidel, Matthew (Tara) Sidel, Logan Sidel, Amber (Eric) Portnoy, Brian Rees, Elizabeth (Corey) Snider, Brittany Rees, Holly (Ron) St. Hilaire, Heather (Greg) Finlayson, and Hillary (Dave) Nielson.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 21 at 11:00 am in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens with Pastor John Wallace officiating. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover is handling arrangements.
