Kenneth D. Thomas

Kenneth D. Thomas, 93, of Dalton and formerly of Strasburg died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in the Shady Lawn Health Care Community in Dalton.

Born July 10, 1922 in Baltzley Valley he was a son of the late George and Bessie Cox Thomas. Ken was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Thomas and great grandson, Cole Surmay.

He was a member of Strasburg United Methodist Church.

Ken is survived by his wife of 72 years, Glenda Sewell Thomas whom he married on August 14, 1943; children, Keith (Norma) Thomas of Dover, Carol (David) Stidd and Linda Thomas both of Dalton; grandchildren, Chris, Thom (Kristine), Stacie (Steve), Natalie (Chris), Holly (Mike), Doug (Caitlin) and 10 great grandchildren.
