Kenneth B. Garman, 93, of Dover passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia.

Born on November 5, 1921 in Canton, he was the son of the late Ralph Garman and Marjorie (Lantry) McKay.

Kenneth graduated from Louisville High School. He married Ruby Haswell, who preceded him in death on September 21, 2001. He is also preceded in death by his son; David L. Garman, step-father, Harley McKay, three sisters; Elizabeth Sanders, Dorothy Carney, and Alice Reid.

Kenneth retired from Snyder Manufacturing. He was a member of the Dover Foursquare Church and the Strasburg United Methodist Church. He loved to garden. He also enjoyed history and was an officer for the Tuscarawas County Historical Society. He was the recipient of the Zeisberger Heckeweld award in 2006. He was also a former member of the Dover Historical Society.

He will be sadly missed by his children; John (Sherrie) Kibler of New Philadelphia, Noreen Kibler of Dover, Dan Garman (fiance, Erika Ickes) of Dover, Douglas Garman of Akron, Gregory (Karie) Garman of Dover; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and four great- great grandchildren; and his sister in-law, Ruth Fox of Dover.

In honoring Kenneth's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. A private graveside service will take place at Dover Burial Park. To sign an online guestbook for Kenneth, visit the "Obituaries & Flowers" link on the funeral home's website.
