Kathleen Recla

Kathleen (Kay) Recla of Livonia, Michigan, formerly of Dover, passed away suddenly on December 26th from complications from a stroke. She is the daughter of Marian and Herman Bambeck.

She is a graduate of Dover St. Joseph's High School (Class of 1956) and was also employed at Weigand's Trucking in Dover prior to her marriage. She and her husband Norm have been residents of Michigan for the past 46 years.

Loving mother of Suzanne Upmeyer of Northville, Michigan; Carolyn Stoecker of Bear, Delaware; Norman Recla of Renton, Washington and Julie Worden of Bellevue, Washington. Loving Grandmother of Nicholas and Rachel Worden; Jennifer Upmeyer; Will and Grace Recla and Ethan and Elizabeth Stoecker. Sister of Donald and Roger Bambeck and aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the Toland Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, January 2nd from 2 - 4 P.M. and 6 - 9 P.M. with Christian Wake Service at 8:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd at St. Joseph's Church in Dover at 10:30 A.M. with burial services immediately following at St. Joseph's Calvary Cemetery. Following the burial, family and friends will be received in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center.
