Kathleen Pauline Dinicola

Kathleen Pauline DeNicola, 88, who had most recently lived in New Philadelphia, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 in the New Dawn Health Care Center at Dover.

Born August 6, 1917 at Fairfield Township., she was the daughter of the late John & Rose Kubick Fait.

Kathleen retired in 1982 from the former Dover Molded Plastics where she had worked for more than 20 years.

Her faith was an important part of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Phila., and over the years as the family had relocated to different areas in the county, she had also worshipped at Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison, and St. Joseph Church in Dover.

She cherished her family, and spent the better part of her life caring for her husband, the late Anthony J. DeNicola, who, at the young age of 37 was injured in mining accident and was wheelchair bound for the rest of his life. He died October 23, 1997.

The couple raised two loving daughters who survive, Patricia A. Miller of Ormond Beach, FL and Sharon (Donald) Lamonica of Sugarcreek. Other survivors include: seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Fait of New Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kathleen was preceded in death by: her son, Anthony J. DeNicola, Jr., who died March 20, 1990; and two brothers, Theodore and Edward Fait.

A funeral ceremony that celebrates Kathleen�(TM)s life will be held Wednesday, August 2, at 2:00 p.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, New Philadelphia with Msgr. George Schlegel officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia. Friends may call in the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to services.
