June L. Kreiter, 93, of Walnut Creek, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Walnut Hill Nursing Home.

Born on June 27, 1922 in Walnut Creek, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Esther (Miller) Mishler. She graduated from Shanesville High School. On November 3, 1945 she married William Kreiter, who preceded her in death on June 29, 2007. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Bracken.

June worked in the accounting department for Sears in Marion for 20 years.

June enjoyed reading, golfing, and playing bridge. She also loved wildlife and enjoyed feeding birds.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Tim Kreiter of Kentucky, Ron (Melinda) Kreiter of Kentucky, Sue (Craig) Immel of Columbus, Sherri (Mark) Nelson of Illinois; her brother, David (Mary Lou) Mishler of Sugarcreek; sister in-law, Nancy (Gene) Longbrake of Columbia, South Carolina; along with nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of June's life will take place with a graveside service at Dover Burial Park on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 10:30 am with Pastor Donald Rice Jr. officiating. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover are handling the arrangements.
