June Giles Watkins

June Giles Watkins, 92, of Dover died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at the Country Club Retirement Center following a brief illness.

She retired from Sparta Ceramic after many years of service.

Born June 25, 1912 in Mineral City, Ohio she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Wick Brinkman.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Dover.

June was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Giles who died in 1956 and her second husband William Watkins who died in 1983. She was also preceded in death by her son, Cleon Giles; daughter, Marjorie Stover; two grandsons; and 11 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her loving family, Janet and Harold Coyle of Dover, Marlene and James Brick of Port Washington, Aaron and Jeanette Giles of Rocky Mt., Virginia, Lenora and Charles Gross of Magnolia; son in law, Robert Stover of Dover and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Kenard Parrott officiating. Interment will be in German Cemetery at Mineral City. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
