Judy A. Ferrell

Judy A. Ferrell, age 63, of Uhrichsville, died Thursday, February 20, 2014, in Trinity Hospital Twin City, Dennison.

Born February 1, 1951, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Helen Johnson Rothacher. Judy graduated in 1969 from Dover High School, and, on May 24, 1970, married Gary L. Ferrell. She was a loving homemaker.

Judy enjoyed being with her grandchildren, and decorating her home for various holidays throughout the year especially Christmas. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. Judy also enjoyed going to garage sales, growing flowers, and always looked forward to seeing the first robins in the spring.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; her two daughters, Michelle (Ty) Ghezzi of Uhrichsville, and Joanne (Jason) Shepherd of Conesville; her five grandchildren, Melissa Kiana, Kealy, Cameron and Keterah Ghezzi; her great-grandson, Spencer Hanson; her two sisters, Linda (Charlie) Gardner of Tippecanoe, and Brenda (Rick) Harsha of Mineral City; her five brothers, John (Sandy), Robert and Roger Rothacher, all of Dover, Danny Rothacher of New Philadelphia, and Mitchell "Pete" Rothacher of Beach City; and her many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, her brother, Joey Rothacher, preceded Judy in death.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Monday, February 24, 5 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 25, at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
