James C. "Jim" Zeigler

James C. “Jim” Zeigler, age 86, of Dover, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018.

Born February 18, 1932, in Dennison, he was a son of the late Karl and Marie Tremblay Zeigler. Jim attended St. Mary’s High School in Dennison, and served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married the former Joanne Pongrat on June 14, 1959, and was employed by Wilmar Furniture, Dover, for thirty-five years. Jim was a member of St. Joseph Church, Dover.

He is survived by three sisters, Ann Riley, Josephine Smith and Fay Zeigler, and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joanne, on October 24, 2017; his sister, Jane Umpleby; his brothers, Joe, Fr. Edmond and Ray Zeigler.
