Isabelle E. Blacka

Isabelle E. Blacka, 86, of New Philadelphia died on Sunday, August 31, 2003 at the Park Village Health Care Center.

She retired from Daniel�(TM)s and had also worked at Siff�(TM)s and Cooper�(TM)s Shoe Store.

Born September 25, 1916 in New Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Metzger Beitzel.

She was a member of Jerusalem Church and the Tuscarawas County Senior Citizens.

Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband Frank Blacka who died on October 2, 1995.

She is survived by two daughters: Wanda (Richard) Shaffer of New Philadelphia
Darla (Glenn) Limbacher of New Philadelphia

Two sons: James (Maxine) Blacka of New Philadelphia
Wade “Bud” (Bonnie) Blacka of New Philadelphia

Three sisters: Bernice Fincher of New Philadelphia
Adeline Griffey of Dover
Nida (Ralph) Hawk of Kensington, Ohio

11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by eight brothers, four sisters and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at New Philadelphia with Dr. Terry Downin officiating. Interment will be at Jerusalem Church Cemetery. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
