Irene F. Fess

Irene F. Fess, 80, of Dover and formerly of New Philadelphia and Port Washington went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 12, 2003 at the Hennis Care Centre.

Born September 13, 1922 in New Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Anna Marie Kratz Bartholow.

She was a member of the Dover Foursquare Gospel Church and the Foursquare Women�(TM)s International. She was also a member of Rejoice Christian Women�(TM)s Fellowship and the Dover Senior Center. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, drawing and bingo.

Irene is survived by a daughter: Bonnie (Kenny) Hewitt of New Philadelphia

Two sisters: Helen (Roy) Humrighouse of Dover
Jean E. Shores of New Philadelphia

Two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Virgil and Curtis Bartholow.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at New Philadelphia with Rev. David Wing and Rev. Ronald May officiating. Interment will be at Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home in New Philadelphia on Monday from 6-8 pm.
