Irene A. Vlad

Irene A. Vlad, 84, of Dover, Ohio died Monday, June 26, 2006 in her home following a sudden illness.

Born May 30, 1922 in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Bacu Vlad.

Irene retired in 1984, as a tile setter for the Sparta Mfg. Company in East Sparta where she worked for 28 years.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Dover, Dover VFW Auxiliary, and the Dover Women of the Moose. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed crocheting and sewing.

She is survived by a sister, Virginia (Jim) Horn of Dover and two brothers, George Vlad of Toledo and John (Joan) Vlad of Dover along with several nieces and nephews including Debbie Horn, Mike Reiger, Valerie Mullen, Laurinda Gribble, John Allen Vlad, and Melanie Vlad.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Michael Vlad and a sister in law, Faye Vlad.

Pastor Jim Lewis will officiate graveside services on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 11am in the Dover Burial Park. There are no calling hours.
