Herman ''Rick'' Cugliari

Herman ''Rick'' Cugliari, 71, of Dover died Sunday, November 25, 2001 at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness.

He retired in 1993 from the Timken Co. in Canton after 37 years of service.

Born November 2, 1930 in Dover he was a son of the late Dominic and Margherita Pace Cugliari.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover Moose, VFW, New Philadelphia Elks, Italian American Festival Association and attended St. Joseph's School. He enjoyed bocci, golf, Italian festivals and gardening. He also enjoyed making homemade wine, meatballs and sauce. Rick will be missed by his family and friends, especially everyone at Joe's Shoe Shop.

Rick is survived by his wife Margaret Immel DeBois Cugliari.

He was also preceded in death by half sister Victoria Alesiano and one granddaughter.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2001 at 1:30 pm in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Tuesday (today) from 5-9 pm with Christian Wake Services starting at 8:30.
