Helen L. Michael

Helen L. Michael, 90, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, September 27, 2004 in Aultman Hospital at Canton.

Born May 26, 1914 at Fredricksburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Hazel Miller Middaugh.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Alva E. Michael, who died February 23, 1990.

Survivors include: three daughters, Gertrude “Trudy” Myer of Las Vegas, Patricia (Ted) Parson of Massillon and Mona Sue Widder of New Philadelphia; a son, Richard (Phyllis) Michael of Lakeland, FL; three sisters, Betty Fites of Wooster, Freda Hootman of Wooster, Donna (Fred) Everhart of Arizona; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by: two sisters, Ila Tracey and Gladys Kinsey; three brothers, Virgil, Melvin and Herbert Middaugh; son, Hershel Michael; and two grandsons, Jeffrey and Michael Michael.

A service celebrating Helen�(TM)s life will be conducted Thursday, September 30, at 11:00 a.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call in the funeral home on Thursday, one-hour prior to services. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to a reception in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center.
