Helen J. Adams

Helen J. Adams, 88, of New Philadelphia passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Union Hospital in Dover.

Born on April 17, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (McKees) Macik. On November 26, 1949 she married the love of her life, and dancing partner, Jack L. Adams, who preceded her in death earlier this month on September 3, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her brother in-law, Thomas Welsh.

Helen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed attending garage sales. She was a member of the Tuscarawas County YMCA and volunteered for the Red Cross.
She will be missed by her two sons; Bruce (Debbie) Adams of Dover, Ron (Tracy) Adams of Dublin; five grandsons, Lucas, Logan, Derek, Brady, and Cody Adams; a great grandchild, Aley Adams; along with her sister, Margie Welsh.

In honoring Helen's wishes, a Memorial Mass will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11:00 with Father Bill Arnold officiating. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover are handling the arrangements.
