Hazel H. Fletcher

July 28, 1897 — August 7, 2000

Hazel H. Fletcher, 103, of 1427 W. 1st Ave., Columbus, Ohio and a former Dover resident died Monday, August 7, 2000 in her home.

Born July 28, 1897 in Richland County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Catherine Strome Baker.

She grew up in the Methodist church and enjoyed quilting where she was a member of a quilting circle.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Wayne Fletcher who died in 1969.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law Velma and Walter Hobbs with whom she resided.

Four grandchildren including Robert Tschumper of San Francisco, Ca. and Bradley Tschumper of Elgin, Illinois

She was preceded in death by two sons, Howard K. and Clyde A. Fletcher, one grandchild, Bryan Tschumper, one sister and five brothers.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, Aug. 11, 2000 at 1PM in the Dover Burial Park in Dover, Ohio with Dr. David Oliver officiating. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover Friday from 11 AM to 12:30 PM.
