Harry E. "Ed" Hill

Harry E. “Ed” Hill, 84, of Dover passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in the Community Hospice Truman House.

Born on March 30, 1938 in Wainwright, he was a son of the late Harry C. and Margaret Heldt Hill. Ed was also preceded in death by his wife, Vera Hill on March 30, 2015; and three brothers, Robert, Carl and Richard “Butch” Hill.

Ed served his country with the United States Army and retired from AEP after 37 years of service. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

A wonderful and loving father and grandfather, Ed is survived by his children, Victor (Angela) Hill, Nadine (Joe) Woodhall both of Dover; sister, Jeanne Page of Strasburg; grandchildren, Morgan (Dakota) Renfrew, Mitchell Woodhall; step grandchildren, Brittany, Danielle, Ethan Lumpcik; six step great grandchildren; sisters in law, Shirley Hill of Tuscarawas, Noreen Lahmers of Dover and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. Private family services will be held at a later date.
