Hanna Olivia Rice

Hanna Olivia Rice went peacefully home to the Lord, March 29, 2011, after living a long full life.

Born on September 19, 1915, in Dundee, Mrs. Rice lived all her years in her beloved Buckeye state. A 1933 graduate of Dundee High School, she married the love of her life, Robert A. Rice. The couple spent over forty years together until Mr. Rice's passing in 1980. Mrs. Rice took pride in being a celebrated beautician and avid gardener, and lived a life of service to her community.

She is survived by her only son, Robert R. Rice, and his wife, Joyce, of Naples, Florida. She is also survived by her only granddaughter, Shannon E. Rice, of Washington, D.C.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 2, 1 2 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, 232 N. Wooster Ave., Strasburg. A funeral service will follow at 2.
