Gina M. Harper, 33, a lifelong resident of Dover died tragically Sunday, September 5, 2010 in her home.

Gina was a certified dog groomer and worked along with her mother, Cathy in the operation of Just 4 Paws in Dover.

Born July 9, 1977 in Canton, she was the daughter of Cathy (Ball) Harper of Dover and the late Robert V. Harper.

Gina was a 1995 graduate of Dover High School. She was an animal lover and over the years brought home many strays. She loved hiking with her dogs, Jax and Lucky and also enjoyed fishing.

In addition to being sadly missed by her mother, Cathy and her mother�s fianc� Dale Johnson of Houston, Texas, Gina is survived by her maternal grandparents, Byron and Florence Ball of Dover; several aunts and uncles including, David Ball of Dover, Joe (Evangeline) Ball of Dover, Netta (Bill) English of Dover, Brenda (Harper) Hazell of Strasburg, Susan (Harper) Border of New Philadelphia, William C. Harper of Orlando, Florida, Teresa Doriche of Dover, Mary Forsyth of Anaheim, California, and Jane Baker of Uhrichsville; her special cousins, Mike Ball of Los Angeles, California, Angela (Jamie) Dixon of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Marissa Ball of Dover, Nancy (Bill) Altier of Dover, Billie Jo Altier of Columbus, Dan English of Dover, Christine (Chris) Helbling of Dover, Sara and Dave Helbling of Dover, Richard Paisley of New Philadelphia, Kandi Domer of Newcomerstown, Cody Seiber of Gnadenhutten, Kassy Paisley of Strasburg, Mike Bennington Johnson of Orlando, Florida, Jim Johnson of New Philadelphia, Jason Adams of Virginia, Bow Adams of New Philadelphia, John (Rae Ann) Baker of Tuscarawas and Chris Baker Thompson of Indiana, Patty Leek of Orlando, Florida, Fenix Ball of Los Angeles, California, Gianna Dixon of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and her special and dear friend, Deb Nicholson.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Violet Harper Mizer and Clyde Mizer, maternal great grandparents, Charles and Olga Oddi and a great uncle, Joe Oddi.

Fr. Bill Arnold and Deacon Ron Fondriest will officiate a private memorial service for the family on Friday at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover. There are no calling hours.
