George C. Watkins, Jr.

George C. Watkins, Jr., 85, of Dover went to walk with his Lord on Monday, August 13, 2007 in the New Dawn Health Care Center at Dover.

Born November 2, 1921 in Dover Township he was a son of the late George and Bernice Krain Watkins.

He was a member of Dover Baptist Temple.

George is survived by 11 nieces and nephews including, Louise Bleininger and James Barker, many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a half brother, Frank Krain; two sisters, Iris Rothermel and Violet Oler.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Christopher Rhodes officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia. Friends can call in the funeral home on Thursday one hour prior to the funeral service.
