Geoffrey L. Willoughby, 58, of New Philadelphia died Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.

Born August 27, 1946 in Dover he was a son of the late Walter and Jane Wendle Willoughby.

He was a member of the New Philadelphia VFW and was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. In his spare time he enjoyed watching football, especially the Browns and Buckeyes.

Geoffrey was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie June Willoughby who died on September 2, 2004.

He is survived by a son, Geoffrey M. (Jeannine) Willoughby of San Diego, California; two brothers Walter (Linda) Willoughby of Dover and James (Sandra) Willoughby of Dover; sister, Anne (Max) Dapoz of Dover; two step sons, Johnny (Bee Bee) Wickets and Jesse (Tamara) Wickets both of New Mexico; eight step grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens with Pastor Dode Overton officiating. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover is handling arrangements.
