Frederick Tinnirello

Frederick “Fred” Tinnirello, 72, of Dover passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

Born on September 7, 1946 in Dover, he was the son of Joseph and Barbara (Enama) Tinnirello. He married Eleanor “Jane” Beamer on September 3, 1977. Jane preceded him in death on August 6, 2016. He was also preceded in death by his father.

Fred honorably served our country in the United State Air Force for four years. He served as an air patrolman in Montana and the Panama Canal.

He graduated from Dover High School with the class of 1965. Fred worked in the shipping department at Zimmer for over 43 years. He retired in April of 2012.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. Fred was a handyman and enjoyed building model cars and collecting model trains. He enjoyed going to local car shows and showing his cars He was very good at music trivia and especially loved oldies music.

In addition to his mother, Barbara; he will be sadly missed by his son; Joseph Tinnirello (companion, Julie Deitz and her children) of New Philadelphia; daughter, Amy (Perry) Phelps of Dover; grandchildren, Payton Foster, Jordan Braley, Gianna Tinnirello, Kylie Phelps, Alexis Phelps; sister, Connie (Kenny) Taylor of Dover; his brother, Sam Tinnirello of Dover; sister in-law, Mary Lou Beamer of New Philadelphia, aunt Arlene Reichman of Amelia, Ohio; along with several nieces and nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 10:30 am with Father Jimmy Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery in Dover with military honors. Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 5-7pm. A wake service will take place at 6:45.
