Freda K. Heid

Freda K. Heid, 98, of the Park Village Health Care Center and formerly of Crater Ave., Dover, Ohio died Tuesday, October 7, 2003 in the center.

Born May 11, 1905 in Strasburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Emma Loeffler Heid.

Freda was a lifelong member of the St. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg. She was active in the Democratic party in her earlier years. She also enjoyed cooking and flower gardening.

She is survived by several cousins.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother, Lydia Heid, Edna Heid Weigand, Clifton Heid, Muriel Heid, and Isabel “Peg” Heid.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 10, 2003 at 10:30 am in the St. John United Church of Christ at Strasburg with Pastor Gerald Schuessler officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery at Dover. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Thursday (today) from 6-8 pm.
