Florence Pyle

Florence Pyle, 84, of Dover, died Saturday, May 19, 2001 in Union Hospital.

She was a long time court reporter, having retired in 1982 from the Tuscarawas County Court of Common Pleas.

Born January 29, 1917 in Brandywine Valley (Dover Twp.), she was the daughter of the late Carl & Mamie Casebeer Guedel.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Dover and had been active in Brandywine Grange.

Florence is survived by her husband, John B. Pyle, whom she wed on February 15, 1942.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Guedel.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23, at 2pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home Dover. Interment will be in the Brandywine Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-9pm.
