Florence "Jeanne" Pace

Florence "Jeanne" Pace, 76, of New Philadelphia died peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 31, 2016.

Born March 21, 1940 in New Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Keener Barker. Jeanne was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Pace Jr.

Jeanne loved being with her family, they were the center of her life. She enjoyed following her children and grandchildren with all of their sporting events, having her monthly breakfast meetings with her friends, family vacations to Top Sail Island and fishing trips to Canada.

A wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother, Jeanne will be sadly missed by her husband of 58 years, Donald Pace, whom she married on October 28, 1957; children, Pamela (Jay) Jenkins of Atwood, Kathy Pace, Anthony (Teresa) Pace both of New Philadelphia, James Pace of South Carolina, Mike (Polly) Pace of Dover; sister, Joanne Riley of Atwood; brother, Ronald Baker of Indiana; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 5 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Fr. Tyron Tomson officiating. Following the service a luncheon will be held in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
