Elmer D. Sommers

Elmer D. Sommers, 54 of New Philadelphia and formerly of Dundee, died Monday, August 19, 2002 in Union Hospital.

Born March 18, 1948, he was son of Susan J. Raber Sommers of Willis, VA and the late Daniel A. Sommers.

Elmer had been a social member of the Shady Rest Army-Navy club.

In addition to his father, Elmer was preceded in death by a sister, Nettie.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 22, at 2:30pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover. Cremation will follow services.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8pm.
