Edward S. Adreas

Edward S. Andreas Sr., 87, of Beach City died Sunday, November 10, 2002 at his son�(TM)s home in Strasburg following a brief illness.

He retired from Norfolk & Southern Railroad after 20 years of service, and had also worked at his fathers Ford garage as the head mechanic.

Born January 18, 1915 in Sugarcreek he was a son of the late Harvey and Minnie Shutt Andreas.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking care of his pond. He was also an Army veteran of WW II and was a member of the Beach City American Legion.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife A. Marie Andreas who died on December 21, 2001.

He is survived by his son: Edward S. Andreas Jr. and his fiancé Maggan Dolan of
Strasburg.

Sister: Mildred Houy of Beach City

He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Bonnie Andreas

Brother: George Andreas

Sister: Ruth Arney

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at 10:00 am in the South Lawn Cemetery at Beach City. There are no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover is handling arrangements.
