Edith M. Lieser

Edith M. Lieser, 91, of Dover, died Wednesday, February 13, 2002 in the Park Village Health Care Center.

She was a retired school teacher having worked in the Dover City Schools system for over 30 years teaching at Dover East & South schools.

Born October 31, 1910 at Dover, she was daughter of the late William Anna Evans Hawk.

She was a member of the First Moravian Church at Dover, the Clionion Club and the Retired Teachers Association. She was a 1935 graduate of Kent State University

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Homer H. Lieser, who died August 6, 1999.

Suvivors include: sister-in-law; Margaret Edwards of Dover, niece; Helen Fisher of Dover, and nephew; Mike Shilan of Hilgan, Massachusetts.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 18 at 11:00am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Rev. Allen Bergmann officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to services.
