Edith E. Storad

Edith E. Storad, 82, of Dover passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 in the Community Hospice Truman House.

She was born on April 13, 1938 in Clinton, Ohio to the late James and Helen Kosco Burkhead. Edith was also preceded in death by her sister, Roberta Beckman.

Edith retired in 1998 from Tusco Display in Gnadenhutten with over 20 years of service. She loved the outdoors, and was especially fond of working in her flower and vegetable garden. A wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother, Edith is survived by her husband of 64 years, Donald Storad whom she married on June 2, 1956; children, Jill (Doyle) Martin of Dover, Jim (Sally) Storad of Bolivar, Pam (Dan) Smith of Zoar; sister, Mary Ellen Hoffman of New Franklin; grandchildren, Claire, Heidi, Casey, Taylor, Alex; great grandchildren, Quinn and Izzy.

Private family services will be held with interment in the Gnadenhutten Clay Union Cemetery. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover is handling arrangements.
