Donna May Fruchey

Donna May Fruchey, 68, of Massillon and a longtime Strasburg, Ohio resident died Friday morning, Nov. 4, 2011 following a brief illness.

Donna attended the Whippledale Workshop and had previously attended the Starlight School and Workshop in New Philadelphia. She enjoyed the workshop and loved people.

Born April 1, 1943 in Fairfield Twp, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Grace Nettie Jane (Smart) Fruchey. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Lee Fruchey and her brother in law, Lester Marino Sr.

She was previously active in the Salvation Army.

She will be sadly missed by her sister, Goldie Marino of Canton and her four nieces and nephews Lou Ann Marino and Sharon Umberger both of Canton , Lester H. (Heidi) Marino of Louisville and Mark (Kristin) Marino of Sanford, North Carolina along with several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services celebrating Donna's life will be held Monday, November 7, 2011 at noon in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Strasburg with Charles Burrier officiating. She will be laid to rest with her parents in the Union Hill Cemetery at Sugarcreek. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11am to noon.
