Dixie A. Incarnato, 74, of Dover passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Country Club Retirement Center in Dover following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on September 16, 1939 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late John and Wilma Edie Burson. She celebrated 43 years of marriage with her husband, Joseph Incarnato Jr, before he passed away on February 29, 2008. She is also preceded in death by her son, Joey Incarnato III; brother, Bob (Florence) Burson; sister, Kate (Max) Edie; and her brother in-law, Ralph Labus.

Dixie graduated from Dover High School. She was the owner of the former Cloverleaf 77 Bar in Dover. She was a member of the Salvation Army. She received her conceal and carry license and was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Tusco Gun Club. Dixie was the first woman in Tuscarawas County to get her motorcycle license. She loved reading, traveling, going to casinos, and spending time with her great grandchildren.

She will be missed by her children; Vincent T. Incarnato, Kelly P. Incarnato, Cindy (Kelley) Fisher, and James A. Murphy all of Dover; three step-children, Jayne L. (James) DiNicola of Florida, Valerie (Phillip) Hootman of New Philadelphia, and James Incarnato of New Philadelphia; two sisters, Sally (James) Stickley of California, Erma Labus of Stone Creek; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In honoring Dixie's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. Her family is planning a memorial service at the Salvation Army on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 7:00 pm with Charles Burrier officiating.
