Dawn D. Ewing

Dawn D. Ewing, 42, of Dover, Ohio died Wednesday, January 18, 2001 in her home following an extended illness.

Born January 15, 1959 in Canton, she was the daughter of Doloris (Edwards) and Bill Clinton of Dover. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Ewing along with her grandparents, William and Blanche Clinton, Walter Edwards, Ross Ewing, and William Gamble.

Dawn was a loving mother and daughter. She loved sports, especially basketball and football. She adored her cats, Outlaw and Lucy. She had a green thumb and her house and porch overflowed with beautiful plants and flowers.

In addition to her mother and stepfather, she is survived by her son, Eric Ewing of Dover. One sister, Darcie (Dan) Shepherd of Canton; Two brothers, Randall (Debra) Ewing and Ronald (Judy) Ewing both of Dover; a halfbrother, Martin (Shelly) Clinton; Four stepbrothers, William (Carla) Clinton of Mesquite, Texas, Robert (Judy) Clinton of Dover, Richard Clinton of Frederick, Md., and Stephen (Debbie) Clinton of Dover. She is also survived by two grandmothers, Bernice Gamble of Dover and Frances Ewing of Mineral City and two special friends, Glenda West and Yvonne VanFossen.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 22, 2001 at 10:30 AM in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Steven Daniels officiating. Interment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Sandyville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
