Daniel E. Swegheimer

Daniel E. Swegheimer, 75, of Dover passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Union Hospital.

Born September 20, 1942 in Piqua, Ohio he was a son of the late Albert and Caroline Rentsch Swegheimer. Dan was also preceded in death by a brother, Fred Swegheimer.

He retired from Hutras Construction in Dover and was a member of the Carpenters Union in Newcomerstown.

Dan is survived by his wife of 24 years, Debbie Mantolete Swegheimer whom he married on January 20, 1994; children, Mike Swegheimer, Sherry (Stanley) Burkhart, Polly (Andy) Kopka, Heather (Brian) Page, Daniel (Deb) Bleininger; brother, Bill (Barbara) Swegheimer; grandchildren, Sarah Drummond, Joey Burkhart, Logan and Bryson Page and Josh Bleininger.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 27 at 2:00 pm in the Dover Burial Park with Rev. Brian Flood officiating. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover is handling arrangements.
