D. June Trucinski, 81, of New Philadelphia was called home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2012 at Hennis Care Center in Bolivar following a long-term illness.

Born on June 10, 1931 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Mary (Weinmann) Carl. She graduated with the class of 1949 from St. Joseph High School in Dover. On June 6, 1953, she married the love of her life, Carl Edward Trucinski, who preceded her in death on August 27, 1993.

June was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia where she was a member of the Altar Society for many years.
She worked as a teller at Chase bank, formerly known as Bank One for over 20 years.

June enjoyed cooking and sewing, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan. One of the highlights of her life was a trip with her family to Graceland.

She will be sadly missed by her children; Gary (Lorreen) Trucinski of Wheaton, Chicago, Mike Trucinski of Strasburg, and Julie Shriver (companion, Lester Cerana) of North Canton; sister, Joanne Warther of Dover; grandchildren, Ashley Shriver of Sherrodsville, Thomas Shriver of Fort Lee, VA, John & Matthew Trucinski of Wheaton, IL, Cristen Trucinski of New Philadelphia; great-grandchildren, Aiden Shriver, and Samantha and Mackenzie Shriver.

A mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 9:30 am. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia. Following the service of committal, a meal will be served at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 4-7 pm. A Christian Wake service will be conducted on Monday at 3:45 pm.
