Charlotte A. Whetstone

Charlotte A. Whetstone, 74, of 306 S. James St., Dover, Ohio died Thursday, February 19, 2004 at the Aultman Woodlawn Transitional Care Center in Canton following an extended illness.

She retired in 1995 from the Human Resource Dept. at Union Hospital where she worked for over 30 years. She loved Union Hospital and her many friends there.

Born August 20, 1929 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence F. and Ruth Benz Stutz.

Charlotte was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church at Dover. She was a 1947 graduate of Dover High School, Past President of the Dover Jaycee Women and a member of the Union Hospital Retirees. She often commented how lucky she was to live in Dover.

She is survived by her husband, Ron E. Whetstone with whom she would have celebrated 52 years of marriage on July 13.

She is also survived by two sons Scott F. and Paula Whetstone of North Canton and grandson, David, a student at Ohio State University
Todd Whetstone and his fiancé Ginny Chippendale of Prosper, Texas and Ginny�(TM)s children Kelly, Jenna, and Rachel.

Funeral services celebrating Charlotte�(TM)s life will be held Monday, February 23, 2004 at 10:30 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Jeff Cooper officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. A reception will follow services in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
