Catherine E. Hay Zutavern

Catherine E. Hay Zutavern, 77, of Dover and Ft. Myers, Florida died on Thursday, August 17, 2000 in her home at Dover following a three year battle with leukemia.

She and her late husband Wayne co-founded Wayne Auto Parts at Dover in 1956.

Born July 8, 1923 in Midway, Stark County, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Henry and Bessie Shellenbarger Kinser.

She was a member of Winfield United Methodist Church and the Myerlee Country Club in Ft. Myers, Florida. She was a 1942 graduate of Dover High School and was an avid golfer.

Catherine was preceded in death by her first husband Wayne E. Hay who died on January 30, 1995 and is survived by her second husband William Zutavern with whom she celebrated four years of marriage on June 2, 2000.

She is also survived by two sons: Eric and Rhea Hay of Dover

Grandchildren: Arica Setla of Colorado Springs, Colorado

Great granddaughter: Kylie Setla of Colorado Springs, Colorado

Sister: Lila and Ed Martin of Canton

She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Herbert, Don and Clyde Kinser.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2000 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Lu Ann Youngman officiating. Interment will be at Ft. Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Sunday from 6-9 pm.
