Carol L. Shrock Rusher

Carol L. Shrock Rusher, 71, of Westerville, Ohio and formerly of Dover died Wednesday, November 7, 2007 in St. Ann�(TM)s Hospital at Westerville.

Born July 24, 1936 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Laura Anderson Sundby.

She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Columbus and had belonged to Grace Lutheran Church in Dover. She was an avid camper and belonged to the Bounders, Buckeye Bacon Burners and the Good Sam Camping Clubs.

Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, Doyle Shrock who died on October 28, 1990 and is survived by her second husband, Don Rusher, with whom she celebrated 15 years of marriage on February 15, 2007.

She is also survived by a son, Brad (Terrie) Shrock of Avon Lake; daughter, Amy Mueller of Lewis Center; three step-children, Herb (Michelle) Rusher of Galena, Howard Rusher of Strasburg and Donna Rusher of Columbus; sister, Delores Sundby of Fredrick, MD and five grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Foster.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Marlin Drake officiating. Friends can call at the funeral home one-hour prior to the service on Monday.
